NORTH ADAMS -- MCLA women’s soccer coach Deb Raber was named the MASCAC Coach of the Year on Thursday, and a handful of girls made the All-Conference teams.

It was the second time Raber received the honor; she previously won it in 2007. She led the Trailblazers to a 13-4 regular season record, tying the school’s record for most wins in a single campaign. Raber has coached MCLA to three straight winning seasons, including 25 victories over the last two years.

Jess Tietgens, Jade Prickett and Jen Wehner were named to MASCAC First Team. Tietgens, a Drury High School graduate, tallied 22 goals and 49 points in 2009 -- both marks topped the league’s stat leaders.

Tietgens also reached a milestone this season, setting MCLA’s all-time scoring record for goals in a career.

Prickett notched a team-high eight assists, while Wehner posted an impressive .83 goals against average this season.

Junior forward Danielle Parenteau made the Second Team.
